September in Tokyo brings us all the exciting events pretty cramped up one after the other. Is it a coincidence or is it the fact that the beginning of the end of summer is always a pleasant period in Tokyo? Perhaps it is an indication that events like this will be happening much more often from now on. Check them out in order of appearance:

The segments within the conference like the arena, bootstrap alley, startup investor speed dating and meet the bloggers offer an interesting approach and surely something for anyone in the tech industry.
Start up the Party: Tokyo x SF
12-20 September 2014
Startup the party is a super innovative concept that focuses on hands-on exposure and experience – it’s connecting Tokyo and San Francisco on a very grassroots level. A comprehensive approach unites technology, business, society as well as music and arts. We agree; it does sound great!!! At the heart of this workshop/conference is the concept of ‘immersion’ of the Tokyo and San Francisco crews – the participants will literally venture into the city, research, address issues and prototype. Conclusively, it involves a PechaKucha presentation and an option to share experiences together at the Labyrinth music festival and arts exploration trips. A first-of-a-kind event with great future ahead.
13 and 17 September
MoMo is such an established event in Tokyo that we feel there is no too much need for introduction. And this September is kind of special: Mobile Monday Tokyo community will celebrate their 10th anniversary in September with a double-shot of open to all events. On September 13th they will join at the annual Belgian Beer Weekend festival in the huge outdoor arena at Roppongi Hills and on September 17th, with many visitors from overseas for Ad:Tech and Tokyo Game Show (see links below), they will take a cool evening cruise on Tokyo bay! San Francisco and Tokyo: Japan Night
27 September 2014
Now in its fourth year and seventh season, JapanNight began in 2010 as a competition to showcase the most innovative startups from Japan. Join for the semi-finals in Tokyo as six startups, nominated from the 15 semi-finalists in Tokyo, will get a unique opportunity to present their ideas in the finals in San Francisco. The presentations will include a Q&A session; and the finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their work to a large audience which, in the past, has included venture capitalists and members of the media. For the Japanese finalists, this is a huge opportunity to take their dream abroad and for Japan it is a great opportunity to show its talent in Silicon Valley.
